Hi Nikolyn, It must have been soo nice to have lived in Santa Fe! Yes, there was a path to the top when we visited Camel Rock a few years ago! I just love the history and culture and traditions in New Mexico! Thanks so much for your comments, Nikolyn!

I know this spot well. When we were kids, we lived in Santa Fe and there was scarcely a drive by this that we didn't stop so we could all climb. In those days there was a path to the top . . . but I suppose that's no longer allowed. I recall it as being north of Santa Fe rather than between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, but I was just a kid.
