Description
The Pumpkin Patch - By Dora Sofia Caputo
On a trip to the East End of Long Island, New York, we stopped at the pumpkin patch to get the pumpkins for the customary annual display during the fall and Halloween season. In this image, I tried to capture the essence of the pumpkin patch.
Pumpkins are frequently carved as decorations around Halloween. A pumpkin that has a little face carved in it and hollowed out and decorated with candles inside is known as a jack o'lantern; these are often used at Halloween, for example, to decorate windows.
